My interest is in the ordinary, the aspects of life that are not thought of as lavish, but are the most impactful, placing ordinary life into extra-ordinary circumstances. This is my way of bringing attention to the attention less. By altering their environments - it is a way of questioning their actions and their meaning to us. My work examines the extent of technology and AI in the imagery that we encounter daily.

The Motorist Won

London, England / 2023 - Present

Amidst a political landscape where the 'war on motorists' is wielded as a populist tool, this series captures a future where this rhetoric has prevailed. The transformation of UK landmarks like Stonehenge into vast vehicular realms underscores the absurdity and danger of prioritizing short-term political gains over sustainable urban planning. These images mirror the contentious debates in the UK, challenging the narrative that prioritizes car ownership at the expense of public health and environmental sustainability.
I will go further so that we stop the war on motorists once and for all
— Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

Scalefulness

Los Angeles, California / 2014

Scalefulness places itself above the city, ignoring the ambiguity of the city below - being a city that no longer represents us or our way of thinking. In Scalefulness generic objects from the city below become the subject and are re-deployed becoming newly unfamiliar environments. Soda bottles become houses, watch gears become office complexes, ballerina tschotskes become cul-de-sacs, as tea kettles become neighborhoods. These objects lack authority over their size, one can say they are anything and therefore they become anything you want them to become, or nothing at all. Duck boats can span between lakes of grids, Mountains can be bound by radii, and stacks of suburbia can be separated by motor grills.
